XIII. HÁZISÖRFŐZŐK NEMZETKÖZI VERSENYE – MAGYARORSZÁG
VERSENY KIÍRÁS
A verseny célja
A verseny célja az otthoni sörfőzés népszerűsítése, a házisörfőzők személyes találkozására nyíló alkalom megteremtése.
A verseny főszervezője
Első Magyar Házisörfőző Egyesület (továbbiakban a Szervezők).
Dátumok, határidők, helyszínek
– A verseny napja: 2025. május 24.
– A verseny helyszíne Mad Scientist és Horizont Sörfőzde, 1106 Budapest, Maglódi út 47.
– Nevezési határidők: 2025. március 1. 08:00 óra és 2025. május 9. 15:00 óra között
– Leadási határidők: 2025. május 10. 10:00 órától 2025. május 21. 17:00 óráig
– Leadási helyszín: Sörfőzők Boltja, 1163 Budapest, Kövirózsa utca 8/B
Általános verseny szabályok
– A BJCP2021-ben (Beer Judge Certification Program) található összes stílusban lehet nevezni (Kivéve: cider és mead) A jelentkezéskor meg kell adni a sör pontos kategóriáját, továbbá szükség esetén egyes kategóriáknál kiegészítő információkat (pl., milyen ízesítés). A bírák minden egyes nevezett sört a megadott BJCP kategóriának megfelelően pontoznak le, tehát nem a különböző nevezett sörök egymáshoz hasonlítása határozza meg a pontszámot.
– A Szervezők a különböző BJCP által meghatározott stílusokat előre meghirdetett konszolidált kategóriákba sorolják. Ennek a besorolásnak a kategória helyezéseknél lesz jelentősége, a bírálatokat továbbra is a nevező által megadott BJCP stílusoknak megfelelően zajlanak, tehát NEM a söröket egymással összehasonlítva. A stílus besorolásokat lásd a kiírás végén.
– A szervezők fenntartják a jogot, hogy az előre meghirdetett konszolidált kategóriák összeállításán változtassanak amennyiben a nevezett sörök eloszlása valamely konszolidált kategóriá(k)ban szélsőségesen sok vagy kevés. Ekkor vagy konszolidált kategória összevonás vagy adott esetben egy további konszolidált kategóriára való szétbontás is előfordulhat.
– A sörök elbírálása a BJCP stílusnak megfelelő fogyasztási hőmérsékleten és a BJCP2021 alapján, azaz a nemzetközi norma szerint történik. A BJCP2021 magyar nyelvű fordítása az egyesület honlapján megtalálható (https://elsosor.hu).
– Azokban a konszolidált kategóriákban, ahol a bírálat egy futamban történik a legtöbb pontot elérő sör aranyérmes, a második ezüstérmes, a harmadik bronzérmes eredményt ér el.
– Ha egy konszolidált kategóriába nagyon sok nevezés érkezik a bírálat több futamban történik (több napon keresztül, vagy több csoportban). A bírált sörök mindegyik futamából az első három helyezett továbbjut egy ún. szétlövéses (miniBOS) bírálatra, ahol a bejutott sörökből kiválasztják a kategória első, második és harmadik (arany, ezüst, bronz) helyezettjét. Az eredeti pontszámon és bírálaton azonban már nem változtatnak. Erre azért van szükség, hogy ki tudjuk egyenlíteni az egyes futamok között esetlegesen fennálló különbségeket.
– A verseny legjobb söre az abszolút győztes (BOS=Best Of Show), amelyet kizárólag vizsgázott BJCP bírálói csapat fog kiválasztani. A verseny abszolút győztese gravírozott, a győztes nevével és évszámmal ellátott vándorkupát vehet át. Ezzel megkapja a „Magyarország legjobb házisörfőzője 2025” címet.
A nevezés menete, szabályok
– A versenyre csak olyan sörrel lehet nevezni, ami nincs kereskedelmi forgalomban és otthoni sörfőző eszközökkel készült.
– Minden nevezést a https://competition.elsosor.hu oldalon digitálisan rögzíteni kell.
– A verseny szervezői maximum 300 fizetett nevezést fogadnak el. A nevezés után érdemes azonnal kifizetni a nevezést mert csak a fizetett nevezés számít érvényes nevezésnek, és az oldal a 300. fizetett nevezés után fogja automatikusan lezárni a további nevezéseket.
– A nevezési díjat csak PayPalon lehet kifizetni a https://competition.elsosor.hu oldalon a saját nevezéseidnél. Készpénzt nem áll módunkban elfogadni.
– A nevezési díj nevezett sörönként 2800 Ft (7 EUR).
Az Első Magyar Házisörfőző Egyesület tagjainak kedvezményesen 2000 Ft (5 EUR).
– Egy versenyző egy adott BJCP stílusban csak 1 sört nevezhet, de összesen maximum 3 nevezése lehet. Ez a közösen főzőkre is érvényes!
– A BJCP stílusba sorolás a nevező feladata és felelőssége. Egyesületünktől legfeljebb jó szándékú segítséget kaphat a kategorizálásban. Ha valaki nincs otthon az adott kategóriában, a versenyig bőségesen van ideje a nyertes sör kikísérletezésére.
– A fentiek alapján tehát nagyon figyelni kell a nevezett sör helyes BJCP stílusba sorolására!
Rossz besorolás miatt kaphat nagyon alacsony pontszámokat egy egyébként remek sör.
Elfogadott kiszerelések és mennyiségek
– 3×0.5L vagy 5×0,33L – Koronazáras Üveg
– 3×0.5L vagy 5×0,33L – Csatos üveg
– 3×0.5L vagy 5×0,33L – Fémdoboz (Can)
– 3×0.5L – Barna színű Pet Palack
Sörök leadásának a menete, szabályok
– A söröket csak a már meghatározott időpontok között és a meghatározott helyszínen lehet leadni
– Csak a regisztráció után az oldalról kinyomtatott címkével érvényes a leadott sör
– A kinyomtatott címkét a nevezett sörök üvegének nyakára gumival kell rögzíteni, így a szállítás során biztosabban az üvegen marad a címke és a rekesz nem „pörgeti le” a gumit.
Érvénytelen a nevezés amennyiben
– A leadott tétel bármilyen egyedi azonosítót tartalmaz (tehát a koronazár lehet pl. piros ez
nem kizáró ok, de ne legyen rajta semmilyen egyedi azonosító)
– Ha a nevezési oldalról kinyomtatott címke rá van ragasztva a leadott tételre
– Ha a leadott tételen nincs a nevezési oldalról kinyomtatott, rágumizott címke vagy
nem egyértelműek, nem olvashatóak a címkén szereplő információk!

XIII. HOMEBREWERS INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION – HUNGARY
COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Purpose of the competition
The main purpose of the competition is to make homebrewing more popular and give an opportunity to meet personally to our community members.
Organizer of the competition
The main organizer of the competition is the First Hungarian Homebrewers Association (hereafter organizer)
Due dates and locations
The day of the competition: 24th May 2025
The location of the competition: Mad Scientist and Horizont Brewery – 1106, Budapest, Maglódi út 47, Hungary.
Entry registration: from 1st March 2025 8:00am (CET) to 9th May 2025 3:00pm (CET)
Drop off date: from 10th May 2025 10:00am (CET) to 21st May 2025 5:00pm (CET)
Drop off location: Sörfőzők Boltja, 1163 Budapest, Kövirózsa utca 8/B
General competition rules
– Entries accepted in all BJCP2021 styles (except mead and cider) At registration the entrant must specify the exact style of the entry and give other specifics as required by the given style (for example fruit type in a 29A Fruit beer). The judges will evaluate every entry against the BJCP style which was specified by the entrant. The final score of the entry will be based on the comparison to the style, and not to each other of the entries
– The different BJCP styles are organized into predefined consolidated groups. The grouping of the entries will be important at the ranking of the beers in the given group. Once again, the entries will be judged against the given BJCP style and not against each other. See the consolidated groups at the end of the competition notice.
– The organizers reserve the right to change the preliminary announced consolidated groups in case the balance of the entered beers will become exceptionally low or high in one or more consolidated groups. In such case the organizers will either merge some consolidated groups or split it out to more consolidated groups.
– The evaluation of the entries will happen at the recommended temperature of the given style by the BJCP2021, according to the international standards.
– In every consolidated group, the entry which will reach the highest score will be the winner of this group. The descending order of scores will determine the further place of the entries, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be announced.
– If there have been too many beers/entries entered to a group, then we will separate them into multiple judging rounds (flights). Each of the first three entries of the individual flights will move on to the next round (miniBOS). In this miniBOS flight the judges will decide the first three as the final standings of this group. The scores of the original individual evaluation will not change at the miniBOS table. The original scores do not have influence, and neither will change at the miniBOS table. This way of judging is required to compensate the results between the different individual flights, and well, also we can’t push the judges to judge like 20+ beers so we need to split if there are too many entries in a group.
– The best beer of the competition – THE GRAND CHAMPION – will be chosen by certified BJCP judges at the BOS (Best of Show) from the group winners. The grand champion will win the perpetual trophy for one year, and win the title of “the best homebrewer of Hungary 2025”
The way to register entries, rules
– Only such entries are accepted which were brewed using homebrewing equipment and not commercially produced or distributed at all.
– Each and every beer has to be registered at https://competition.elsosor.hu webpage
– The maximum amount of the paid entries to the competition is limited to 300. After you’ve registered your entry it is advisable to pay it immediately since only a paid entry is considered as a valid entry. The competition webpage will automatically close the registration after the 300th paid entry.
– The entry fee can be paid only through PayPal at the https://competition.elsosor.hu webpage right at your entries. No Cash will be accepted.
– One entrant is allowed to register a maximum of 1 beer per BJCP style. One entrant is allowed to have a maximum of 3 entries registered to the competition. This is also valid for those who have entered their beers as a group.
– The entry fee per beer is 2800 HUF (7 EUR). Discounted entry fee per beer for the members of the First Hungarian Homebrewing Association is 2000 HUF (5 EUR)
– It’s the duty and responsibility of the entrant to choose the correct style. You can expect some level of support from the association in case you need help choosing the right style.
– Based on the above, it’s very important to give attention to choose the correct style of the entry. If the entry is registered to an incorrect style it can lead to low scores even if it’s a very tasty and balanced beer.
The accepted type of bottles
– 3×0.5L or 5×0,33L – Normal Cap close glass bottles
– 3×0.5L or 5×0,33L – Buckled bottles
– 3×0.5L or 5×0,33L – Can
– 3×0.5L – Brown Color Plastic (PET) bottles
Drop off rules
– The beers can be dropped of posted only between the earlier designated dates and times and location.
– At the drop off point the entries will only be accepted with the label printed from the webpage.
– The printed labels must be fixed to the neck of the bottles with a rubber band. Please pay attention to have the label fixed firmly to avoid such problems like it is lost during the transfer.
Your entry will be disqualified in case
– We will found any distinguishable marks on the bottle or on the cap. (You can e.g.: have red caps, no problem, but don’t have any special marking on it)
– The label is glued to the bottle
– There is no label at all from the official webpage, or if the label is damaged, not possible to identify
